Yordan Popov violin bow
Popov trained in his home town of Plovdiv before moving with his family to the USA in 2000. After ten years gathering experience in other violin workshops, he established Orpheus Violins in Virginia, where he continues to make and restore good instruments and bows. This fine violin bow is made from well-selected pernambuco, and skillfully fitted with silver mounts. The round profile of the stick gives a full but elegant and creamy tone, while articulating cleanly along its whole length. With it’s handsome button and pearl inlays, and stylishly carved head, this will make a fine bow for an advanced student or aspiring professional player.
