JonPaul "F. Valino SLC" cello bow, USA

JonPaul Bows, based in Salt Lake City, with a good supply of 30-50 year old, ethically-sourced pernambuco wood, they have recently launched into the upper end of the handmade wooden bow market with bows produced by their own team of highly-skilled archetiers (they have been leading makers of high-end carbonfibre bows).

The “F. Valino SLC” gold-mounted range was made by their leading archetier and stamped with his family name.  The materials and workmanship are exquisite, and the playing characteristics are everything one would expect from such a beautiful bow.
