Harald Lorenz violin, model #8, Czech Republic, 2009
SKU: S740
Harald Lorenz violins are made by Akord Kvint, a moderately-sized workshop in Luby, in the Czech Republic. Amongst violin-lovers, Luby is better known as Schönbach, famous for its musical instrument making since the 17th century. Akord Kvint, founded in 1991, employs master violin makers under the supervision of the Harald family, and use only European materials and parts. This attractive violin, with its well-chosen tone woods, is one of their top models. The tone is vibrant, even and warm, and projects well. The violin will make a good choice for a student advancing through the grades who enjoys solo performance as well as ensemble work.
