Breton Bruvete ¾ violin France
SKU: S775
Originally coined by French violin maker Francois Breton, luthier to the Duchesse D’Angeouleme “Breton Brevete” became a name and label widely used by a number of workshops in Mirecourt. The quality of these instruments can vary widely, but this three-quarter size is markedly superior to most in workmanship, materials and tone. The maple back is in one piece, and has a beautiful, rippling flame. The tone is very resonant and open, especially in the upper registers, with much more of a full-size violin character and volume than one usually finds. This violin, consequently, would be an excellent choice for a young, advanced player wanting a good performance instrument.
