¾ German violin, copy of Stradivari
SKU: S664
This attractive ¾ sized German violin was probably made in Bubenreuth and dates from the period after WWII and the partition of Germany into East and West. The maple back has a broad, soft flame enhanced by an amber-coloured varnish. The tone is warm, resonant and very even across all four strings, with a good bass response for an instrument of this size, and a very pleasant, full E string with silver overtones and good projection in the higher positions this will made a very satisfying choice for an advancing player needing good performance characteristics.
