Ribeiro, Brazil "F Petit" violin bow
We are seeing increasing numbers of expertly-made and well-priced bows produced by Brazilian workshops and made from fine-quality, sustainably grown pernambuco wood. This “F. Petit” violin bow, made by French-trained archetier Valdecir Ribeiro for Petz, in Vienna, is an excellent example of the genre, with a strong, steady stick, crisp articulation and a very accessible spiccato. The fully-lined, ebony frog has Parisian eyes, nickel silver mounts and attractive abalone inlays. The bow comes with a certificate of authenticity issued by Petz.
