German unlabelled cello

SKU: C519

This late nineteenth or early twentieth century German cello was made in Markneukirchen or Klingenthal, the main musical instrument making towns of the Vogtland, in northeast Germany. Their large workshops catered for the growing market in good student instruments, which were then sent all over the world. This cello has been fully restored in our own workshops, and has an open, resonant, appealing tone. It will suit an experienced student planning to advance through the upper grades.
