Nagoya Suzuki NS-20 violin outfit
The Suzuki Violin Company, based in Nagoya, Japan, was founded one hundred years ago by Masakichi Suzuki, father of the world-renowned creator of the Suzuki Method, Shinichi Suzuki. The company has devoted itself, ever since, to the production of good-quality student violins at reasonable prices. Their NS-20 violins are a step up from the more basic models we are used to seeing in New Zealand, and are made with well-selected, carved spruce and maple, ebony fittings and a lovely, soft spirit varnish. This violin has been professionally adjusted in our own workshops, and comes with Pirastro “Violino” strings, a brazilwood bow and a lightweight case.
