Richard Geipel silver-mounted violin bow

SKU: B818

Richard Geipel founded his workshop in 1901 in Schönlind, a small town just south of Markneukirchen, where he produced fine bows for over seven decades until his death in 1975. This bow, made in the Markneukirchen style, with large Parisian eyes and a bi-coloured whalebone lapping, is a good example of his work. Its good playing characteristics will assist both advancing students and experienced amateurs.
