The Stringed Instrument Company was originally in the historic Brown's Mill building in downtown Auckland. In 1988, just prior to the building's demolition, the company moved to its present premises, a charming historic cottage in inner city Mt Eden.

Either:
Gilles Ave off ramp and back onto motorway heading north.
Symonds Street off ramp.
Go straight through all the lights onto Ian McKinnon Drive, which leads onto Dominion Rd.

Or:
Take the Cook Street off ramp to Union Street.
Right onto Pitt St.
Right onto Karangahape Road (K Road).
Left onto Newton Road.
Right onto Devon St.

Upper Queen Street.

Newton Rd off ramp - turning right onto Newton rd.
